Macalate Shake Up

Switch up your smoothie routine with this energizing and supremely delicious maca + chocolate delight.


8-12 oz almond milk (see our easy homemade nut milk recipes here)
1/2 frozen banana (or avocado if avoiding sugar)
1/4 c cashews
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 serving brown rice protein powder (here’s our favorite)
1 heaping tsp cacao powder
2 heaping tsp maca powder (see the amazing Pyto-function of Maca below)
1 pinch Himalayan pink salt
Optional: 1/2 c blueberries


Blend together ingredients. Enjoy daily as your morning or afternoon energy boost.

For a deeply penetrating energy reset, drink daily for several months, taking a break for 1 week between months.
